Pelatihan ditekankan pada aspek instalasi, operasi, proteksi pada generator, transformator dan peralatan perbaikan factor daya. Untuk itu diharapkan setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta dapat :
* Memahami konfigurasi dan peralatan pada system power plant Industri
* Mengenali konstruksi konstruksi Generator
* Menginstall, mengoperasikan dan mengendalikan Generator
* Memahami system proteksi pada Generator
* Mengenali konstruksi Transformator daya beserta komponen-komponen pendukungnya
* Mengkoneksi, menginstall dan mengoperasikan Transformator daya
* Memahami system proteksi pada Transformator
* Memahami konsep power factor dan perbaikan factor daya
* Memilih, menginstall dan mengoperasikan peralatan perbaikan factor daya

2. Electrical Power and Power Factor (Energy and Power, Types of Electrical Load, Active Power, Reactive Power, apparent Power)
3. Electrical Power Generator (Construction, Electrical Power Generation Principle, Excitation system and AVR)
4. Electrical Power Generator Operation (Generator characteristics, Generator Capability Curve, Paralel Operation)
5. Generator Controll (Active Power Controll, Load sharing and load shedding, Reactive Power Control)
6. Generator protection (Ground Fault, Differential, Unbalance Loading, loss of excitation, out of step, etc)
7. Electrical Power Transformer (Construction, principles of operation, types,, cooling classifications, components and indicators)
8. Electrical Power Transformer Operation (Interpret name plate data,Vector group, design Transformer sizing and Selection Guide)
9. Electrical Power Transformer Protection (Short circuit/over load protection, Unbalance protection, Over Temperature protection, Over pressure protection)
10. Power Quality(Voltage Disturbance, Harmonics, Harmonics Standard, harmonics Impact)
11. Power Factor Improvement(True Power Factor, Reactive Power Compensation, Harmonic Mitigation)
